Relations vs Functions

In mathematics, we think of relationships in terms of Inputs ($x$) and Outputs ($y$).

A Relation is any set of inputs mapped to outputs. A Function is a strict rule where every input has exactly ONE output. Press the switches on the keypad below to dispense items and see the difference!
